After our Christmas we went to my parents house for a quick hour before heading to the Olmschenk Christmas. We wanted to help make my Grandma's 80th birthday special. This is their first Christmas not in their house so it was wonderful seeing them for a little bit! We are so blessed to have them!
Grandma Evie and Grandpa Dave
We then headed to the Olmschenk side to celebrate. Dustin and Selah with GG.
The next day we had a day off of celebrations so we went to a sledding party at my parents house with the Tjader's. We had sooooooo much fun sledding. The kids were out there for so long and laughed so hard. Lucy and Maeta would ride together and belly laugh the whole way even when they crashed!
Even the adults got a little crazy!
Grandma Evie, Kris and Nana were inside entertaining the little ones!
I loved our family celebration on Christmas morning. After doing the whole month of Advent and church on Christmas Eve, I really felt the Holy Spirit moving in our family on Christmas morning. It blesses me so much to see our kids learning how much Christ loves them!
Maeta got a real bible for Christmas and she was sooooo thrilled. She had really wanted a pink one of her own!
We began our Christmas celebrations with the Opsahl's on the 23rd. It is always such a fun time with many traditions. We go after nap time to play and hangout, usually sled, make pizza for dinner, family pictures, read and act out the Nativity, and open presents. Then we get all the kids to bed, and play a game of Settlers. Then we ALL spend the night!!! All 16 of us!
We wake up and do stockings and Cinnamon rolls in the morning!
We are so blessed to have family and a Savior's birth to celebrate!
