Pictures from July...

I was terrible at keeping up this journal during July, so here is a very random post about our July.
My sweet friend Kristi from High School stopped by with her brand new baby boy Hart.  He was sooooo cute.  My kids wanted to keep him!  Here is Soren so happy for a boy around...
One afternoon the kids had so much fun taking random pics.  Here are some (I can't believe how old Selah looks in them)...
She makes some of the funniest faces...
We got to watch Ruthann for an afternoon.  My kids had so much fun with her!  She fits right in with my kids...
 Popsicles...
Maeta got to pick out and plant her own pot of flowers this year.  Here they are, didn't she do a good job?!
The wonderfully helpful big brother...
A few months ago I took Maeta on a date to get her toenails done for the very first time.  However, about 5 minutes into it she started throwing up.  Sooooooooo, we had to do a make-up toenail painting date.  This time she didn't throw-up, Yeah!!!
Cute little Finn attended one of our Bible Studies.  I am hosting it at my house and we are doing Beth Moore's "Daniel" study.  I have loved it so far!
The girls finished up ballet, but not without Nana and Sami coming to watch a practice!!!
Enjoyed the lake with some friends...
Got together with my old Twister friends for dinner.  What a terrible picture of us but it shows real life, Ha!!!  Between us we have 7 kids now!!!  Love it.
Soren finished up t-ball for the Summer.  He had Caleb and Sam cheering him on one day, and Papa showed up at his last game to cheer him on too!
My little man and I...
My cousin Linzy had a baby girl three weeks ago.  So we got to see and love on baby Evelyn Ruby (Evy Ru).
She is soooooo cute and little!
Selah enjoying some of the attention too...
Hanging out at my grandparent's house...
Here is our family on our 7th anniversary next to our tree that we planted for the baby we lost.  Usually it is in bloom on our anniversary but it is a little late this year.  It was also a whole 50 degrees cooler on this anniversary than on our wedding day!!!
My hunky husband of seven years!!!!
And that's a wrap for July folks!!!!

Cabin

We were blessed again this Summer to get a weekend get-away at Courtney's family cabin.  We had such a wonderful time all being together up there!  The kids loved swimming in the lake.  Courtney, Sam, my mom, and I all swam across the whole lake.  It took us soooooo long, and Courtney even swam back!  Anyway, here are a bunch of pictures of our time...
Dustin and my mom showing off their muscles on the dock!
Finn and Selah bonding over watermelon!
The kids eating together...
Kayaking...
The worlds longest game of Settlers, can you tell who won?!
Morning snuggles between Finn and Maeta...
These boys are such sweet friends!
The big boys had a few pretty intense volleyball games...
You can have smores at 10:00 am, right?!!!  The little girls came out carrying all the smore supplies.
Morning fire while it was overcast...
Such a beautiful place!
Boat ride...
Courtney skiing...
Dan In Real Life aerobics...
Lots of biking...
Oh Selah!
It got nice and sunny in the afternoon!
The kids loved Sam and Brent playing with them nonstop!
Best dinner ever made by my mom and dad!
Papa teaching the kids how to get a spark going from rocks!
It was the most gorgeous evening!
Thank you Courtney, Luke, and Courtney's family for blessing us with this weekend.  We had such a wonderful time!!!

Happy 7 My Love

This year has been wonderful.  The first six years of our marriage were filled with exciting changes where we either moved, got pregnant or had a baby every single year.  This year was the first year of just living in the blessings the Lord has graciously filled our marriage with, and catching our breath a bit.  Both Dustin and I love change, but we welcomed a slower pace this past year.  Along with learning to breath a little bit slower, we both also fell more and more in love with Jesus and I know that has been what has made this year of our marriage so wonderful.  I look forward to living one day at a time by your side this next year Dustin, and I praise God for the man you are becoming in Him.  And to go along with my dad's verse for you Dustin, that he shared at our wedding, "He who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ."  Philippians 1:6
I love being your wife!
