Sister Routines

I love this picture because it makes me wonder about how many hundreds of beam routines I did next to my sister!
Maeta and Selah just seemed to discover each other as friends for the first time this week.  They have been playing so sweetly together and actually really enjoying each other!!!  Melts my heart.

V-day, B-day, and a Milwaukee Wedding

My man came home with flowers...
Maeta sporting her Valentine Crown she made...
Soren showing his Super Hero Valentines he made for school...
Soren showing his sisters all his Valentines from his party at school...
Their Valentine table to wake-up to...
 Good-Morning!
Me showing the world that "This Girl Loves Her Husband".  Maeta and Soren kept saying that all day, it was so cute!
Selah in her Valentine pants that both Soren and Maeta wore on Valentines Day!
Dustin took the day off of work on Thursday and we headed to Milwaukee to enjoy the hotel before my cousin Linzy's wedding which was on Friday.  The car ride went great!  Selah napped and played while the two older ones watched a movie and played in the back.  Dustin and I enjoyed coffee, reading, and talking!!!  When we got there the kids were sooooo excited to swim so we went right away.
It was so fun seeing them so giddy!
When my parents got there we played in there room for a while before heading to bed...
The next day we swam more, ran the halls, Maeta took an early morning nap because she wasn't feeling good, and my mom threw me a birthday party...
The girls enjoying the hot tub...
and the boys...
 Even Finn tried swimming...
 Racing...
Lots of arms to hold lots of babies...
Alicia and I did the pictures for the wedding so my mom and Sam came to help with the babies while we did pics...
Sam is so wonderful and such a great help.  She always seemed to have a baby sleeping on her...
Linzy was a beautiful bride and it was so fun being a part of Mike and her day.  Here is a little glimpse of the stunning bride...

My mama showing off her newest grandson Finn at the wedding...
Courtney, mom, and Finn...
G. G'ma Evie and G. G'pa Dave with Selah...

Soren and Dustin bought this fake ice cube that had a bee stuck in it.  They brought it to the wedding and tried to trick people into thinking it was real.  The first victim was Sam, and she totally fell for it.  She was so grossed out that there was a bee in her water!  Soren was so proud!!!  After Sam they went and got my mom!
 The bride playing with Selah...
We were sad that we had to leave right after dinner but we had a little girl who was not feeling good.  She fell asleep right by our table on the ground :(
It was a wonderful weekend with a lot of fun!  It is nice to get away for a few nights and play with family!  It was fun being a part of Mike and Linz's wedding!!!

Selah is 10 months!!!! (only 1/2 month late)

Selah, you had a very big 9th month.  You learned many things and had a slight personality change!
You started CRAWLING!!!!!  You got your first TWO teeth.  Started pointing.  And became a lot more opinionated and determined!  You have been on a mission exploring the world around you!  You find everything you can to put in your mouth, even the food under the oven!
You hate being fed any baby food but really like big girl food!
You think it is so fun to sit at my feet in the kitchen and eat everything that fall while I'm cooking!
You are so cute Selah and we love watching you grow and explore!  You continue to melt me!

Another Snow Day

We enjoyed a fun day in the snow on Sunday.  It fell quickly and was perfectly sticky for snowman building!  We enjoyed playing in it because it was warm out too!
Soren and Maeta helping my cousins Garron and Aurora build a snowman...

Maeta loved sledding!
Soren and I had a snowball fight!

A wonderful snowy day!

Our week without daddy...

So thankful to wake up this morning knowing Dustin (even though was already back at work) was back here in MN with us.  A week without my man made for a lonely week.  Dustin and Nick left in the wee hours of the morning last Monday and the kids and I picked them up at midnight last night.  The kids were wonderful for me the whole week and I praise God for His grace there.  Tuesday we didn't have anything on our schedule so I decided to pack it full.  We woke up early and got ready to head out the door, not even waiting for Selah to get her early morning nap in.  We were too excited to go!  We started by going to Ikea.  It was fun to just play around the store.  On a Tuesday morning at opening the store isn't too crowded so we really did get to play our way through the store.
How we moved from place to place!!
On Tuesday kids eat free too, so we hit that up before we left.
We then decided to hit the Ice Castle since we were down in that area.  So we got dressed in all our warm clothes in the car, changed a diaper, did a little baby feeding and headed out to the cold.  Soren thought it was a big Rock Climbing place!!!  He loved it.
Here are the three wee ones in the Winter wonderland...
Soren and Maeta were giddy with excitement!
Selah didn't think being all bundled up and not able to move was anything special...
We had fun exploring and trying to figure out how them made everything...

 Missing daddy!
 Sisters on the ice chair...
We made it home totally exhausted and ready to gear back up for a late night bible study.  The kids usually got to sleep between 6:30 and 7:00 so being out that night until 10:00 with no naps definitely pushed us past our limits for the day.  Thankful that my parents came to Bible study to watch all the kids though so us girls could get some fellowship and encouragement.  I think I spent the rest of the week trying to go a little less intense so I wouldn't totally loose my sanity!!!  Thankful for a fun and busy day!  And a less busy week!
