Winter bits...

I have been a terrible documenter this past month so here is a little picture dump of our past month.
We enjoyed a Christmas party with the old Twister girls.  Here is Selah, Jacob, and Ruthann...
And the girls and kids...
Selah loves playing babies...
Sledding off hay bails at Sarri's...
Selah
The babies even went sledding on the toboggan...

We celebrated Ruthann turning 1
And sadly her ducky cake fell off the cake stand behind the kitchen desk...
Selah playing with Finn and Luke...
Papa and Finn watching the kids play at the party...
Musical chairs...
I can't believe the littles already have a one year old in their group!  One of their many pictures together!
The kids at the party...
Selah and Finn stayed close together, they're the non walkers!
The party girl enjoying herself...
Selah does the straddle splits to get from a crawl position to a sit!
Maeta, Lucy and Papa watching Sami's gymnastics meet.
Maeta and Lucy had so much fun dancing and doing their gymnastics on all the mats!
Selah and Sami...
 Enjoying some crafts...

Selah started crawling tonight!!!!  We have been working really hard at it and she finally did it tonight!  Good job baby girl!
 I love her little pony!
 Plays "So Big"
I found my glasses from when I was little (I wore them for about 1 week in 6th grade) and Soren loves them because Clark Kent wears glasses...
These two are always thinking of something to play!!!  Got to love Winter when we are inside and needing to be creative!

Selah 9 months

Oh little lady, how are you already 9 months and 11 days old???  You continued to melt all our hearts through Christmas and into this new year.  You are a wonder and I love you so much precious girl.  When you turned 9 months old you still had zero teeth, made it to 15 lbs but got sick and soon dropped back down to 14.7, and continued to be totally content just sitting and playing with no desire to crawl.  However, you have been working really hard these past 11 days.  You got your first tooth, you have been eating like crazy, and have a desire to explore the world around you.  You still aren't crawling, but you are moving around by twisting, rocking, turning, and pushing backwards.
You push up to crawl and your legs end up frogging out, so you straighten them and go through straddle splits one leg at a time until you are sitting!!!
You love babies.  This one is your favorite.  You get so excited to see her when you wake up and hug and kiss her over and over.  You still like to clap, you do "so big", shake your head "no", say mama, dada, good girl.  You love to cuddle and are such a wonderful snuggler!!!

We are so thankful for your life and the gift you are!
