Why are we doing this cleanse?

Many of you have asked Dustin and I why we are doing this cleanse.  Well, the goal is to replace all the nasty stuff in our bodies such as yeast, parasites, pathogens, and other bad bacteria and replace it with good bacteria.  Doing this will help us gain more energy and mental focus as well as the bonus of shedding unwanted weight and inches.  The average person on this 24 day challenge looses 10 pounds and 10 inches (as long as you follow the diet, take the supplements, and exercise).   The supplements help rid your body of the bad bacteria and the pro biotic replaces the bad bacteria with good bacteria.  The diet also helps because bad bacteria feeds on foods such as sugar, dairy, starchy foods, and fried foods.  Once your body is cleansed and you have gained effective intestinal function your body will move food residue more quickly, and better absorb vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients.

We (or I guess I should just say Dustin because I have not followed it strictly due to nursing Maeta) have just finished the 10 day cleanse and are now moving on to the Metabolic Nutrition System Kit.  There are 5 components to follow during this phase.  1.)  Coreplex Multivitamin/Mineral:  These include 36 essential vitamins, minerals, and nutrients in a form that your body can easily absorb.  2.) OmegaPlex supplement:  This helps with physiologic functions such as brain development, a better immune and cardiovascular system, and healthier hair and skin due to the omega-3 fatty acids.  3.) ProBiotic:  This helps in maintaining good bacteria levels your body needs.  Also helps keep healthy intestinal functions which enhances weight-loss.  4.)  Meal Replacement Shakes:  A nutrition shake low in calories, high in protein which helps to burn fat and build muscle.  Also contains many vitamins and fiber.  5.)  Spark:  As I mentioned before, I love this product which helps produce and prolong energy.  Also contains essential amino acids and is sugar free.

For those of you beginning the MSN Kit here is what it will look like:
Morning:
The first package of vitamins (here is a strip of vitamins divided into 4 different sections)  30 mins. before breakfast.

Then 30 mins. later take the last two sections of vitamins along with a Meal Replacement shake and some type of fruit.

Mid-morning snack:  Try a Spark to help give you energy.

Lunch: 30 mins. prior to eating take the final package of vitamins out of the strip.
The rest of the day just continue to follow a healthy diet!  We would love to answer any more questions you may have.

A weekend and Monday recap!

We had a very filled but wonderful weekend.  The fun began Friday night when my dad a.k.a. Papa watched Soren and Maeta while Dustin and I did a Kettle bell class with a speaker after.  The kids love to play with Papa.  Soren and Papa play airplanes and Soren calls them "hair fwanes."

On Saturday we woke up and went back to Nana and Papa's house to play with Sami who is home from college.  Soren couldn't wait.   In the car on the way there he said, "Me miss Amie,  I love her."  It was the cutest thing ever!  Little miss Maeta tried out her new headband too!

That night Soren got to have a sleep over with Grandma and Grandpa.  He was very excited!  Dustin and Maeta got a date night together while I went and celebrated this soon to be married woman...

It was Andrea's bachelorette party and my good friend Kristi threw it at her house.  We had such a great time!  It was a very needed girls night out for me with lots of laughs!

Sunday after church we went back over to Nana and Papa's house for lunch and some swimming in the hot tub.  The kids had so much fun playing in the water again.  Now we really can't wait until Summer!

Today I took the kids over to G'ma Evie and G'pa Dave's house.  Soren had so much fun playing with G'pa Dave.  At one point when they were cleaning up a game Soren bumped G'pa and said, "Oh I'm sorry!"  It is so fun to here him talk so much!  My G'ma hemmed my bridesmaid dress for the wedding coming up!

We came home and tried out our new bike and trailer system.  The kids loved it.  They were laughing together before we even left!

Maeta didn't like it for a couple minutes but Soren took good care of her by giving her the paci!  When we got home (we went about 6 miles) Maeta was sound asleep!

Soren's "Ooeec" and Caleb's "Yaya"

Caleb has had a special place in his heart for our little "Yaya" since she was in my tummy.  When she was born Caleb could not wait to see "Onies" baby.

Caleb is so gentle and loving towards "Yaya."  He loves when he gets to take care of her!

Maeta loves him back too.  The tenderness they share for each other is precious.

So while Lucy and Soren run around the house yelling "mine" at each other, these two take a couple minutes studying faces and giggling together.

Caleb, you are such a great friend to Maeta.

Thank you for loving your "Yaya"

Little bit of this, a little bit of that...

Besides from Maeta wearing her 1st skirt...

and Soren learning how to do a Bible study (he saw me doing mine with my colored pencils and ran and got his Bible and crayons)...

we haven't been up to much.  Just living and loving!  Hope you guys all have a wonderful Friday!
*Remember there is a free Kettle bell class tonight at 4:30 if you are interested.

Thanks dad and mom

Our stairwell has looked like this for the last 4 years...

We have walked by a 1/2 painted wall and an un-hung picture thousands of times and done nothing about it.  Why?  I don't know.  But this weekend my parents came and blessed us by doing this...

You can't get the feel from the pictures of how high this actually was but I was so nervous watching my dad.  Very thankful though!  And here is the finished product...

It is beautiful!  We still have not hung up the "Senorita" picture but we will get to that hopefully sooner than we got to the painting.  Thank you mom and dad.  That was such a treat to have you do that.

Baby doll girl

Somebody got a new bonnet, and thought she needed to try out a new smile to go with it (actually this is normally how she smiles, mouth wide open, but I rarely catch it on camera)!
